Preheat oven to 350. Cream together the sugars and butter in a large mixing bowl. Add in eggs, peanut butter, and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda. Slowing add to wet mixture. Beat until just combined. Shape dough into a ball and press down slightly with a fork. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove and place a star or kiss in the center of each cookie. Return the cookies to the oven for an additional 2 minutes. Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
