Whether it’s friends and neighbors stopping by-a family gathering or just hubby and me enjoying a quiet evening-
our porch definitely gets a used a LOT during the summer!
With everything going on in the INSIDE of our home, I didn’t spend a great deal of time decorating the porch this year, but I did want to make it a cozy space that everyone could enjoy.
So why don’t you grab your beverage of choice, and set a spell?
And I’ll share a little secret about our porch with you.
Something quite magical happens when you take a seat on our old porch swing.
I know that sounds silly.
But it’s true!
Just lean back and take a deep breath.
Can you feel the gentle sway of that chippy old swing take all your cares and worries away?
Maybe our swing isn’t your thing-no worries. There are more cozy places to sit and enjoy a refreshment or snack- and let’s not forget-PLENTY of laughter.
Because this is OUR happy place!
It’s where we always end up after a very long day.
To talk.
To think.
To relax.
And to be inspired by all of nature’s beauty.

I had an aunt in B.C who had a swing, not on her front porch but in the yard and I loved it – so relaxing love visiting in the summer as it took me to dream land.
