Setting a Simple Easter Tablescape!

shop your home and create a pretty and simple tablescape!

Hello, sweet friends!

Today I’m super excited to share with you a quick and easy tablescape that you can create for Easter which is just a little over a week away!

Now I know life has changed as we know it. And I know we are all following the stay home rule! That means no ‘extra’ family or guests outside of those who reside with us will be seated at our tables.

But friends, that doesn’t mean we can’t set a pretty table, right?

Even though it’s just going to be Michael and I, I decided for today’s post I’d set four place settings to fill out our table evenly!

This tablescape took little to no time and  it was totally budget-friendly (there’s that B word we love) because I basically shopped my home for the entire setting. Including the centerpiece.

The first thing I needed for my centerpiece was a pretty vase. I chose this white one that I made from a glass vase!  I simply gave it a couple of coats of white paint. When completely dry I gave it two more coats of clear coat to protect it and give it a slight sheen like a new vase would have.

Since I haven’t been anywhere that has fresh flowers (our grocery doesn’t) I chose a bunch of very realistic looking faux white tulips to fill the vase.

Next came this small white cake stand!! It used to be shiny silver but again I gave it the same treatment as the vase and it looks brand new!! On top of this stand I added my usual “natural” element-fruit!! I love the punch of color they provide! Don’t you?

The rest of the centerpiece is made up of a variety of candles, small aqua  glass vases filled with faux cherry blossoms, and cute mini clay pots filled with faux greenery!!

My place setting was SUPER easy too!! A Hyacinth charger, white plate, and pretty blue and white plates I ‘borrowed’ from my mom years ago and never gave back!! (Sorry mom)  I just love them though and don’t use them often enough!!  To “glam “ things up a bit I put out my gold tableware!  I also added a fun (no sew)denim napkin I made a couple of years ago out of a pair of jeans! They are soft and yet so durable!

It was a fun DIY project that I’ll have to share in another post!! You could also order these! They are super cute too!!

Yes, Easter is going to be a bit different for all of us this year! No dressing up in our Sunday best for services. No big family gathering. But let’s not forget the reason we celebrate Easter! It is still the same. “The Lord has Risen”. And now more than ever we need to celebrate Christ and all that he has given.

Our tables will not be full of our loved ones like before but they can still be with us. There’s always FaceTime, Google Chat, and so many other online options. And if you don’t have internet, you can still pick up your phone and call!!

I really do think it is so important right now to stay in touch whatever way we can with family. I also think that we need to maintain some normalcy (if that’s possible). Which is why I decided to set a pretty table.

It’s a small thing, but small things count in times as difficult as these.

I hope I’ve inspired you to create your own simple Easter Tablescape! But more than that, I hope you and yours enjoy a very Happy and Healthy Easter!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  3. Christine, I love your table this season. First off, I love that you took what you had to make the beautiful table for Easter. Taking the clear vase and turning it into a white vase was genius. You will use the vase over and over again. The tulips look real. I love the pattern salad plates you used. Love blue! Enjoy your table my friend. Have a blessed Easter season.

  4. Aw, Thank you so much, Terrie! I’m so glad you liked it! It was you who inspired me to create a pretty table! I just loved yours!
