Happy Monday, ya’ all!

I took some time away from the blog last week so I could focus all my attention on work!

Things have been crazy busy-and on top of that-hubby and I are trying get our plan (and budgets) in order for several room makeovers that will be starting very soon!

The first room will definitely be our living room.  Initially I thought it was just going to be mostly cosmetic changes, but as usual, after a thorough inspection by hubby this past weekend-it’s going to take a WHOLE lot more than just some paint!

With that said-I can’t wait to start demo!

On another note…..

Did anyone stay up late and watch the Oscar’s last night?

I’m usually a early to bed-early to rise kind of gal, but nothing (not even a few extra winks) was going to stop me from seeing my favorite actor FINALLY get his Oscar!

There was a whole lot of hootin’ and hollering in our living room when Leo got up on stage to accept his award!

While I was waiting for this VERY special moment-(of course it had to be the second to the last award)-I  also did a little “inspiration” searching.

Here are just a few AMAZING finds!

Want to know everything there is to know about making a wreath?

If you love lemons as much as I do, you’ll LOVE this tip for keeping them fresh longer!

This outdoor Spring tablescape is just dreamy!

Speaking of Spring tablescapes…..

Creating a Spring Tablescape

We are having a few friends over for brunch this weekend, so I’m busy creating a budget-friendly table setting!  I’m far from complete-(I have so many ideas swimming around in this old head)-but I promise to share the end result with you real soon!

I’ll also be sharing our Spring mantel this week-as well as-a fabulous breakfast/brunch treat-and a super easy diy project that I’m making for my Spring tablescape!

Have an AMAZING Monday!

Blessings and hugs,

  1. I was marketing a post this morning on social media and thinking to myself….. I need a break. I love blogging but sometimes the social media side of it is just to much. My point… breaks are a good idea. Excited about your upcoming projects. We’re on the tail end of ours. We’ve got 2 months to finish things up before the sign goes on the gate. So weird but I’m ready to move on… which sometimes is a good thing. Love those blue dishes – clean and crisp.

  2. I totally agree, Carole! I too, LOVE blogging, but sometimes it’s nice to take a little breather. Whenever I do so, I usually come back feeling more inspired! TWO months…YIKES! You are definitely going to need a break girl! I’m excited for you on the move! Hubby and I keep mulling it over on whether we want to stay in our current home, or move to one that has a bit ‘less’ fixing up required! I guess we’ll just have to get through these projects and see what happens! Good luck on the sale of your current farm! I would buy it if it wasn’t so far away!!:)
